Job description: 

We are looking for a self-motivated, versatile and creative Events & Partnerships Marketing Manager (f/m/d) to drive event planning and execution across Europe, while also sustaining partnerships with key industry players. You will be responsible for the design and production of our online and in-person events (pending their future return). Furthermore, you will play a key role in bridging our internal teams with that of our partners’, working with different stakeholders to attract and generate new leads to our pipeline through co-promotion campaigns. Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for overall event strategy for relevant markets (incl. content, logistics, budget management, vendor management and promotional plan)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify key events incl. complete pre and post-event preparation, such as training for attendees (elevator pitches, demos, etc.) and event communication, with the goal of fostering a sense of community and generating new, qualified leads
  • Conduct data analysis to identify key trends and opportunities
  • Independently develop new programs or ways of communication with our audience 
  • Cross-functional tasks within the team to drive traffic to our events and generate brand awareness and attendance
  • Establish event KPIs and objectives to consistently track the performance and ROI of each event marketing activity
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, brand and technology partners along with our partner management team to design and implement joint plans based on market trends and developments.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Economics, Marketing, Communication or similar or apprenticeship in the event or communication sector (incl. several years of experience)
  • At least 2 years of professional experience with B2B event marketing (management of vendors, event engagement and multi-channel campaigns)
  • Knowledge of generating relevant traffic and qualified leads via event and affiliate marketing
  • Experience in stakeholder management 
  • A quick wit and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Excellent writer and empathic, professional communicator with very good German and English skills

 

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of marketing automation technology, especially with HubSpot, and virtual event platforms
  • Knowledge of the fundraising industry
